This practical plastic lid is the ideal accessory for our Pizza Ball Boxes measuring 30 × 40 cm. It reliably protects your dough balls from drying out during final proofing, bulk fermentation or storage and helps the pizza dough rest and rise properly.

Especially for longer fermentation times in the refrigerator, a suitable lid is important: it reduces air circulation above the dough balls and helps retain moisture inside the box. This keeps the pizza dough balls soft, elastic and easier to handle later.

The lid is intentionally not completely airtight. This allows gases produced during fermentation to escape while the dough remains protected. Ideal for Neapolitan pizza, Pizza Romana, focaccia dough, Biga, Poolish and many other types of dough.

Why a lid for your Pizza Ball Box is important
