Giusti - Condimento Agrodolce Bianco di Modena 250 ml – Pleasantly sweet and sour

Fresh and balanced, it is extremely versatile and easy to use.

Ageing: French oak and ash wooden barrels

Serving Suggestions: cooked and raw vegetables, salads, fish and fruit salad

Giuseppe Giusti: exquisite balsamic vinegar since 1605

It all began in 1598, when Duke Cesare d'Este was forced by the Emperor to move the ducal capital to rural Modena. As a result, he had new professional registers and guild statutes drawn up - and it is precisely in these that the first documentary evidence of the Giusti family can be found. It is likely that the Giusti family had long before been engaged in the production and sale of products typical of Modena - such as fine salami, but first and foremost balsamic vinegar. Even at that time, balsamic vinegar was considered the absolute pride of the family. This is the beginning of the history of the most renowned and most awarded balsamic vinegar producer in the world. Since that time, the family has proven time and again that it is rightly one of the leaders in this field by producing its high-quality balsamic vinegar. Over the centuries, it has received countless awards for its very special product.

Even at that time, balsamic vinegar was considered the absolute pride of the family. This is the beginning of the history of the most renowned and most awarded balsamic vinegar producer in the world. The history of the Giuseppe

Giusti brand Today, the company is represented and managed by Claudio Francesca and Luciano. The history has always been directly linked to the region. For several centuries, balsamic vinegar was produced exclusively privately in the family and was intended only for private consumption and as a gift for special occasions. Since childhood, the family had learned the secrets of vinegar production and in turn passed them on from generation to generation. Thus the success of this important vinegar producer took its course.

Numerous gold medals speak for the Balsamic Vinegar Giusti

The decades passed and from the 19th century onwards, balsamic vinegar finally achieved worldwide recognition and celebrated enormous success, especially in Europe. The balsamic vinegar was presented at many international exhibitions and won countless important awards - including 14 gold medals. Even the King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele III, was extremely convinced of the quality of Giusti Balsamic Vinegar. In 1929, he awarded Giusti the title of "Supplier to the Royal House of Savoy" and granted him the right to use the royal seal of quality. This is still registered on all Giusti products today.

Balsamic vinegar from the Giusti company - continues to be one of the test winners until today

Even today, the Giuseppe Giusti company receives numerous awards for its excellent balsamic vinegars and often comes out on top in comparisons. This shows that the striving for quality continues to this day. In March 2006, for example, the company received the Superior Taste Award as recognition from the independent organisation Taste & Quality Institute in Brussels. The organisation, which is supported by numerous restaurant, chef and sommelier associations, awarded the highest possible rating of three stars to the popular balsamic vinegar "Giusti Banda Rossa". According to the expert jury, only excellent products with a score of 90 per cent or more receive this star rating. In order to maintain the quality of the balsamic vinegars in the future, they are still made today exactly as they were in the barrels of the past.
